STATEMENT OF FAITH
Founders and associates of Christian Counseling Centers of Oregon all have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and believe that He is the Son of God, given sacrificially so that all may have eternal life. We believe that the Bible is the inspired and only authorized word of God. There is only one God omnipresent within three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
PURPOSE
To treat clients and one another with respect, accountability, and Christ love
VISION
To meet client and church needs through the counseling ministry while encompassing the prayer of David in Psalm 86
GOAL
To provide the local church assistance in meeting the growing need of biblically based counseling within the congregation and community by bridging the gap between needs and appropriate resources
ASSOCIATION POLICY & PROCEDURES FOR THERAPIST
Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as well as believe in the authority of scripture acknowledging God as supreme Counselor and Healer
Must have a Masters level degree or PsyD.
Must be licensed or actively working toward licensure
Must integrate Biblical with psychological principles in the therapy session with the option of prayer
Must dress and act professionally and appropriately within confines of moral conduct and the law
Must respect and follow office/church space boundaries and rules
Must provide non-condemning, compassionate, and confidential counseling within state and federal regulations
Must offer sliding scale fee to those without insurance coverage
Must provide limited consulting services to pastors and church staff on an as-needed basis or as agree upon by both parties
Must be available to teach or conduct seminars as agreed upon by both parties
Must provide follow-up with pastors on clients referred by the church when a release has been signed
Must carry professional liability insurance for his/her practice
Must provide referrals to other professionals when needed
